Our Investments - Employer Ownership Pilot
The UK Commission is co-investing with employers to drive enterprise, create more and better jobs and boost economic growth. We have invested £111m to date, matched by £103m of investment from employers.
Round 2 of the Employer Ownership Pilot saw businesses in England given direct access to up to £340 million of public investment.

Call for new Commissioners
The Secretaries of State of the Department for Business Innovation and Skills and the Department for Work and Pensions are seeking to appoint up to four new Commissioners to work on our agenda to transform the UK’s approach to investing in the skills of people as an intrinsic part of securing sustainable jobs and growth.

Building Strategic Relationships for Economic Growth - consultation
We are working with the 157 Group and the Gazelle Group to identify how collaborative, strategic relationships between businesses and colleges can be developed.
