Investors in People launches new delivery arrangements
1 Apr 2011
Employers working with Investors in People can look forward to more choice and flexibility than ever before, thanks to a new network of delivery partners launched today. The refreshed network means that customers get more choice of delivery partners, including three new centres and two which have been awarded new licences.
The new network was welcomed by John Hayes, Minister of State for Further Education, Skills and Lifelong Learning, who said:
"I am enormously encouraged that, even in these difficult times, so many British companies understand that their responsibilities to their people and their communities go hand in hand with their responsibilities to their shareholders to make a profit.
"Investors in People has, and will continue to, play a key role in inspiring and enabling companies to adopt this ethos and transform their approach to training. Thanks to the new network of expert delivery centres, it will now be easier than ever before for employers in England to work with Investors in People to boost their business."
Valerie Todd, Chair of the Investors in People Advisory Board at the UK Commission for Employment and Skills added:
“Investors in People has enabled over 40,000 UK businesses of all sizes and sectors to build skills, boost productivity and improve performance. The UK Commission is committed to delivering the best possible service to employers seeking to make these gains through Investors in People.
