A scheme which pairs up leading businesses with schools in some of the UK’s most deprived areas is set to expand following a £2.4 million investment from the UK Commission for Employment and Skills (UKCES). At an event at Jaguar Land Rover’s flagship Halewood Plant in Merseyside today, HRH The Prince of Wales, President of Business in the Community, will announce that his charity has been awarded funding to enable it to expand its successful Business Class programme into 135 more areas of the UK.
