Lantra: The Land Based Business Centre
The Land Based Business Centre is a web-based tool for stimulating workforce development by ensuring that employers and learners can readily access sector specific on-line information regarding skills and business development. This will enable them to maximise the economic return on their investment in human capital.
Employers want to be able to find learning and knowledge transfer solutions to meet their needs easily and quickly and the Lantra Business Centre will enable them to do this by sign posting to learning solutions offered by over 2,000 providers across the UK. It will enable businesses to identify their needs, find relevant solutions and find providers offering these solutions
Return on Investment
- Increase percentage of managers with Level 4 leadership and management qualification from 26% to 30%
- Percentage of employers offering on and off the job training from 55% to 65%
