Lantra: Promoting Careers: supporting entry and progression routes

Through this investment, Lantra aim to solve the recruitment problems in the sector by combining an information, advice and guidance (IAG) portal with employer/stakeholder support
To solve the recruitment problems in the sector by combining an information, advice and guidance (IAG) portal with employer/stakeholder support for entry into employment for volunteers and for hard to reach groups, those not in employment, education or training (NEETS) and those seeking to secure employment upon release from prison. The investment will also be used to investigate the feasibility of an Apprenticeship training agency (ATA) for the sector.
The portal will provide clear information on opportunities within the sector as well as career pathways and entry points. It will help promote the sector as a rewarding and worthwhile career of choice.
