Skills for Justice: High Performing Workplaces

Skills For Justice will trial and test the use and value of a range of existing tools including ISO and IiP across the sector and develop new tools in three test bed sites across the UK.
The sector’s employers have identified a need for support in using a range of business improvement and process re-engineering tools to deliver transformational change.

- Developing and implementing a Policing Professional Framework to support all police officers and staff in Scotland will release an annual saving of up to £1.2m by 2015
- Developing and implementing an evidential standard for investigating and prosecuting cybercrime will reduce loss to business by up to £135m and contribute to growth and wealth creation by 2020
- Introducing an online learner network for the Offender Management workforce will enable the sharing of learning programmes and expertise in commerciality. This will lead to reduced costs and support new skills development by 2015
