Details
This report identifies how well potential recruits are prepared for the jobs that they do, and whether recruits in entry-level jobs are supported to develop their skills.
It uses employer-based data from the UK Commission for Employment and Skills (UKCES) Employer Skills Survey (ESS) and Employer Perspectives Survey (EPS) to determine what employers want from their recruits and how those recruits can better prepare themselves for work.
The report provides a starting point for discussion and demonstrates ways in which data from the UKCES surveys can be analysed and interpreted.
