The National Strategic Skills Audit Key Findings report begins by focusing on the extent to which Wales’ current skills needs are being met, using a framework for assessing ‘mismatch’ between the skills needed and the skills available. The Audit then assesses the likely future skills needs which will arise from the evolution of the economy and labour market by examining "drivers of change" and focusing on key sectors and occupations. It concludes by setting out key skills priorities for Wales using a risk-based assessment.
Volume 2 of the Audit provides the detailed evidence on which the key findings are based.
