This e-skills UK led project will create an improved pipeline of talent into the IT industry. The UK ICT workforce is not developing quickly enough. The sector needs a vibrant, well skilled and diverse recruitment pool, but attracting suitable talent is becoming difficult for employers. The project will raise employer investment in the development of young people and establish greater diversity in recruitment.
Return on Investment
- 19,500 young people will be more likely to pursue IT related education or careers
- 5,000 young people will have new capabilities that are valued by employers
- 110 employers will have invested over £530k of value into the talent pipeline
- Self sustaining business models and value propositions will have been established.
