e-skills UK: Vocational Pathways

Through this investment, e-skills UK will transform the opportunity for people to enter IT through vocational pathways rather than the traditional academic route.
This investment will enable people to enter the sector through a pre-Apprenticeship education course and an employer-backed Young Professionals Programme to encourage new talent into the sector and help new recruits (especially Apprentices).
Return on Investment
- The new pre-Apprenticeship education course helps more students secure jobs in IT and increases Apprenticeship completion rates
- More applicants secure jobs as the Young Professionals Programme attracts a greater volume of high quality applicants and helps employers offer a more effective experience
