Following three extremely competitive and rigorous bidding and assessment processes, the UK Commission has so far invested £77m in 91 projects with 20 organisations.
Our £77m investment has been matched by £27m direct employer investment and £39m employer in-kind investment. All of our investment is aimed at driving a positive shift in employers’ attitudes to investing in skills.

Talent Bank builds on the Group Training Association (GTA) model offering an innovative solution to meet future skills requirements.
Technical Apprenticeship Service (TAS) for Science based industries

Cogent are launching the Technical Apprenticeship Service (TAS) that will double Apprenticeship numbers in the science-based industries, particularly in Small and Medium sized Enterprises (SMEs) and deliver over 1000 new apprenticeships into the Science sector by 2017.
